Do you feel exhausted and burnt out trying to apply what you’ve learned on your own about therapy from social media into your actual life? Are you overwhelmed by trying to do all the things to feel better only to find yourself in the same place? I get it, healing from anxiety and trauma is hard and there’s so much information out there!

So how do you know what will work for you and your unique experiences?

I work together with you to build insights and tools that reflect who you are and where you’ve been. We’ll use those strengths to integrate parts of yourself that may not currently have a voice. Together, we work to create lasting change that leaves you feeling empowered in any situation, including those that seem to come back up over and over again.

Together, we’ll work on Inner Relationship Focusing to build your personal insights. This tool is a gentle embodiment practice that aims to help individuals access and develop relationships with inner states of themselves. An easy way to connect to your own parts, is to think about a time in your life when you felt really conflicted internally about something. Chances are you felt pulled in two competing directions at once, each of them being a part of you. What would happen if you paused for a moment and got curious about what each of those parts were feeling? Even if a definitive conclusion isn’t possible, just by being present with each feeling that comes up, you would feel a shift in the way you feel about the situation. Externally, the same experience occurs when we hold space for a loved one and they feel validated and heard.

To integrate parts of yourself that may not currently have a voice, I can guide you through parts work. This path towards healing is utilized in therapy by creating a network of safety for you to explore, heal, and integrate parts of yourself that have been rejected and shamed in order for you to survive. This type of parts work might be a helpful modality for you if you are someone who is interested in emotional healing, accessing more energy and vibrancy, and looking to create forward momentum in your life.

My Approach

There are two incredibly important beliefs I have about therapy:

  1. Regardless of your life experiences, all human beings have the innate capacity to heal.
    -AND-
  2. You are in control of and the expert of your own life and lived experiences.

We’ll work together to create a safe space where your needs come first. I’ll offer concrete tools and exercises that will support the specific areas of your life that you would like to work on. We’ll work at your speed and on the issues that matter most to you.

About Me

I help trauma survivors create and streamline the vision they have for their lives by bridging the communication gap between who they are now, parts of themselves that may not be heard, and how past trauma is currently affecting their everyday lives.

I do this through a trauma informed lens while using parts work and somatic practices to help clients integrate their emotions, minds, and bodies so they can find inner peace and finally feel at home. Being proud of my own neurodivergence, queerness, and survivorhood helps me to identify in solidarity with my clients through lived experience while simultaneously bringing evidence-based practices into the therapeutic space we will create together.
