14 TED Talks to Take You Into 2021 (so you can leave 2020 behind!)

2020 was… a year. I have a lot of other words to describe 2020 but I’ll save you the time and just assume that you’d agree with each profanity.  

If you’re like me, you’re putting a lot of pressure on 2021 to compensate for all the “gifts” that 2020 so generously gave us- the lost time, the lost experiences, the lost connections and the lost hope. 2021 can’t do it alone though- she’s a brand-spankin’-new vehicle waiting for you to put some fuel in the tank so she can leave 2020 in the dust. 

Here are a few of our favorite TED Talks to help you generate some momentum so you can push the pedal to the metal when the clock strikes midnight.

Resolution: “I want to be more authentic” “I want to have more fulfilling relationships”

If you didn’t experience some degree of depression in 2020, you are an outlier…Also, I don’t believe you. Ever feel “blah”? That’s a symptom of depression. It’s not always sadness. It’s not always crying. Sometimes it’s anger, and sometimes it’s so draining that the idea of changing the channel is too much so you end up watching a “my pillow” infomercial for 45 minutes before you even reach for the remote.
